At the end her tears even crack the picture frame because, once again, the picture represents the relationship/love she once had that cannot be fixed. Instead it’s better to just remember the good parts of the relationship.” Clearly the song and video tell a story of someone who is able to fix everything else, but when it comes down to fixing the love she once had she cannot do it because it is BROKEN…hence, when she goes to touch the guy at the end his face starts to crack because that (love) cannot be fixed. ![]() In more or less words she is saying “What’s the point of sleeping with a broken heart. Listen to the lyrics and watch the video…it’s that simple. That being said, EVEN I get the concept of this video. I have enjoyed some of her music, but she is not a singer I have gone out of my way to support. THE VIDEO: I have never been an Alicia Keys fan. I have two comments-first about the video and then about the drama concerning Alicia and her “affair.” Pretending to be all knowing is blasphemous, and I’m sure God does not approve. It’s truly amazing how we as fans love to believe we are so much a part of a celebrity’s life that we can speak on their situations and know what is right, wrong, true, and false.
